Potency, Power & the entourage effect

Hey Canna Lovers!

We’ve been doing a lot of thinking, talking, and processing over here at CCoVT. Because we are all so waist deep in the canna-industry, and because we all love to talk shop…the subject of why don’t the numbers match up with the effect SO much of the time came up and, since then, it’s been a main topic of conversation around here.

We work dang hard to select, cultivate, nurture and develop cannabis on our end so that we can deliver really tasty, terpy strains to all of you. Eric & Durin treat our plants like family, and nurture them every day with a laser focus and a careful eye. When all is said and done, and those samples have been sent into the lab for testing, we cross our fingers that the numbers will be high, so that the buyers and the consumers will jump at all of it. After all, our goal is to get the plant to the people!

Buuuuut….numbers are just numbers. They are flat and static and they don’t hold much information within the confines of their digits. The more we dig in to really see what each strain holds, the more interesting and multi-layered cannabis really becomes.

Cannabinoids….Terpenes…the Entourage Effect….

But what does it all mean, and how on earth does it change the way the strain feels? More importantly, how does it interact with my body’s cannabinoid system?

Put even more simply, THC, CBD, CBN, CBG, and CBC, and so many other cannabinoids that aren’t considered “major cannabinoids” work together with your own internal, organic, born with you endocannabinoid system and product an effect. A well rounded, much more than numbers show effect.

And that, my canna friends, is what makes us feeeeeeeeeeeeel it all.

These images above show just how amazing this plant is, and even more, they show how incredibly well our human bodies interact with it! Although we won’t ever claim that this stuff can cure all the hurts, pains, fears and anxieties, and any other general ‘icks’ that might pop up, we do know that cannabis definitely can help!

And we are all so here for it.

So, after you read this, if you have questions, let us know! You can also head to your favorite dispensary and ask the budtenders. They have so much knowledge, and can help with all of this. What are you looking for? What would you like the effect to feel like? What would you like the strain to do? What are your favorite flavors, in general? What do you not like? What are you curious about? What have you had good luck with? What would you like to avoid?

We all know that cannabis is super fun. It hits the spot and often does the trick. Remember too, this plant is amazing, and it can help you in so many aspects of your life!

Now get out there and lively up yourself!
